This lenses scientifically formulated to be forgotten

Phoenix Lenses is the lightest lens material in the world. It also meets high impact standards for industrial safety eyewear, and features built-in 100% UV protection.
Phoenix lenses are so light they almost float on water. With a specific gravity of 1.1 grams per cubic centimeter, the Phoenix material is 19% lighter than standard plastic and up to 8% lighter than polycarbonate.
The Phoenix material also has superior tensile strength, which is ideal for drill-mount frames, and Phoenix is 6 times stronger than standard plastic. Phoenix provides superior safety for the wearer, with impact resistance far exceeding FDA standards. It is 60 times more impact resistant than standard plastic lenses, and includes 100% protection against UV-A and UV-B rays.

Design Lenses

The ID Single Vision design provides clear vision from edge to edge of the lens. HOYA’s IDSD technology is the first to shape both sides of the lens to the specific rotation of your eyes, so you can focus in all directions, not on your lenses.
HOYA’s Free-Form design approach is based on the understanding that no two eyes are the same. Our patented Integrated Double Surface Design (IDSD) technology maps the specific rotation of each eye, creating the blueprint for lens construction. HOYA Free-Form Fabrication then uses diamond point tools to shape the lens to the exact specifications of your eye rotation.
Conventional single vision lenses use a spherical front surface, meaning the curvature is constant across the front. For low power prescriptions this design produces acceptable visual quality. But as the magnitude of power increases, distortions appear, particularly at the edges of the lens.
Aspheric lenses are designed to neutralize such distortions, with curvatures on the front of the lens changing from center to edge. But up until now, aspheric designs have been based on theoretical optical design, with little consideration for how the eye actually moves. HOYA’s ID Single Vision is the first aspheric design to account for actual physiological functions like eye movement, as well as the first to incorporate the prescription into both sides of the lens.

MyStyle represents the pinnacle of HOYA’s Free-Form technology innovations – combining our patented Integrated Double Surface Design (IDSD) technology (which maps the specific rotation of each eye), and our Balanced View Control technology (a computer vision evaluation that analyzes and corrects Skew Deformation), together with the personal wearing preferences and lifestyle of each patient. The result is the most personalized progressive lens in history.

Tact computer lenses

For many of us, staring at a computer screen has become an occupational health hazard. Physicians have even identified a condition called Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS), with symptoms ranging from headaches and double vision to dry eyes and sensitivity to light.
Tact lenses are specifically designed to minimize the effects of CVS, including eye fatigue, dry eyes, and neck pain caused by working at the computer. With a broader, clearer viewing zone – 3 to 5 times larger than conventional eyeglass lenses – Tact lenses make it easier to focus at arm’s length distances. Formulated with our Super HiVision treatment, Tact lenses also eliminate the glare and reflections from office lights and computer screens. Tact lenses are even remarkably easy to clean, to help you remain focused on the task at hand.

HOYA polarizing lenses not only provide 100% UV absorption, they’re also remarkably scratch resistant. We incorporate polarizing properties in a natural gray for the optimal color contrast and enhancement, and HOYA polarizing single vision and progressive lens designs are both available in our standard plastic or our thinner, more lightweight lens materials.

When your lenses reflect light, it comes between you and the people around you. Anti-reflective lenses reduce glare and halos around lights, and give others a clear view of your eyes in any light.
HOYA’s anti-reflective technologies produce the least light reflection, the greatest light transmission, and most scratch resistance of any anti-reflective treatment in the world. Our proprietary Substrate Matching Properties process formulates each treatment to match the lens material’s unique chemistry, which even produces less residual color on the lens.
